Imrecon's forecasting focus is often strategic, longer-term and risk-aware to help ensure decisions are richly informed. Imrecon designs its decision-support models to reflect the underlying structure of the dynamics that affect the decision. For shorter term forecasts, such as for price cap computations, Imrecon places a greater emphasis on maintaining the audit trail and managing versions of data to provide an authoritative, reconcilable basis for a decision that will need to be reported transparently and could be subject to challenge or appeal. Imrecon also has experience of reviewing and developing regional or national transport demand forecasts. Working with Dr William Hynes, Imrecon's forecasting capability is augmented with experience in demographic and spatial analysis. Financial modelling and forecasting is a core activity. |
