Imrecon

Presentation E-mail

Imrecon has learned that to communicate complex things, they first need to me made strikingly simple. This sometimes means eliminating unnecessarly complexity, e.g. by simplifying a proposal, breaking ideas down into simpler steps, finding ways to summarise, or packaging ideas into more familiar metaphors.

Instead of "what do we need to communicate", the better question is "what does the audience need to hear".

Storytelling

Imrecon's approach to analysis typically employs graphical feedback to explore the dynamics of the issues being analysed.  This helps to provide insights into the structure of the issues and leans towards a mix of graphical, textual, diagramatic and oral ways of communicating them.  The design aim is to help tell the story without losing its accuracy or authority but in ways that speak to a wide audience.

Ian Rowson is an experienced report writer and presenter, speaking at conferences, press briefings, training courses, workshops, as an expert witness in court trials and in the theatre.
